Le gouvernement turc réfléchit à l’expansion de l’activité automobile dans le pays et a affiché son intérêt pour la reprise de la marque Saab : le pays dispose en effet de plusieurs sites de production mais pas d’une marque nationale. Les principaux constructeurs présents sont Fiat/Tofas, Oyak/Renault, Hyundai/Assan, Toyota, Honda et Ford/Otosan. L’an dernier, 1 124 982 véhicules ont été fabriqués, classant la Turquie septième producteur européen. The Turkish government is considering the expansion of the automotive business in the country and has shown his interest in the resumption of the Saab brand: the country has in fact several production sites but no one national brand. The major automakers are Fiat / Tofas, Oyak / Renault, Hyundai / Assan, Toyota, Honda and Ford / Otosan. Last year, 1,124,982 vehicles were produced, ranking Turkey seventh European producer.
