Per Gillbrand receives the Clarence von Rosen medal!




L'homme qui a rendu possible la production commerciale du moteur turbo, Per Gillbrandt a été récompensé par la médaille Clarence von Rosen dans le cadre d'une cérémonie au cours de ce week-end.
Un homme touché a célébré l'attribution par un testdrive avec son moteur Bugatti à l'échelle 1:4 , qu'il avait construit lui-même. Gros succès parmi la foule quand la fumée des moteurs 8 cylindres s'envola parmi les lustres de la salle principale!
Per Gillbrand a durant sa vie professionnelle, travaillé pour l'industrie automobile suédoise. Il a commencé comme employé chez Volvo,en tant qu'ingénieur dans la recherche, et c'est en 1964 qu'il a commencé chez Saab. Là il a travaillé sur le développement de moteurs différents signés Saab .
Il a été impliqué dans plusieurs révolutions importantes comme par exemple en 1977, la suralimentation (Turbocharging) 1984, 4 cylindres avec doubles arbres à cames. 1987, système d'allumage "capacitif".

Le Clarence Von Rosen prix est nommé d'après KAK: le fondateur de Clarence von Rosen. KAK = Kungliga automobil Klubben (le Royal Automobile Club).
Le prix est décerné à ceux qui ont mené des actions importantes dans le développement des voitures et de la circulation.Ainsi se sont vues récompensées dans le passé les personnes suivantes: PG Gyllenhammar, Bo Turesson. le patron Scania Leif Östling et Pelle Pettersson, concepteur de la belle Volvo P1800.




The man that did the Turboengine in commercial production possible, Per Gillbrandt was awarded with the Clarence von Rosen medal on an ceremony during the weekend.
A touched receiver celebrated the award with a testdrive with his 1:4 scale bugatti engine on the white canvas, that he had built himself. It was very popular among the crowd when the smoke from the engines 8 cylinders flew up among the Chandeliers in the main hall!
Per Gillbrand has during his life of profession, worked for the Swedish automotive industry. He started as an employee on Volvo, as an test and experimental engineer, 1964 he started on Saab. In Saab he has worked with the development of Saabs different car engines.
He has been involved in several important news for car engines, some examples is: 1977,Turbocharging. 1984, 4 valve technology with double overhead camshafts. 1987, Capacitive Ignition system. 1989, double balance axles and adapted climate exhaust cleaning.

The Clarence Von Rosen award is named after KAK:s founder Clarence von Rosen. KAK= Kungliga automobil klubben(the royal Automobile club).
The price is awarded to someone that have done significant actions within the development of cars and traffic, Earlier people that have been awarded is: PG Gyllenhammar, Bo Turesson. the Scania boss Leif Östling and Pelle Pettersson, designer of the beautiful Volvo P1800.
